Finally, we found a flat slightly over her budget that matched her needs perfectly. However, there was a snag: the listing agency demanded a 1% deposit just to make an offer—something we firmly declined due to scam risks.

Instead, we directly contacted the owner, explained the situation, and made an offer while still honoring the agency’s commission. The owner was cooperative, even agreeing to lower the price by €50,000!

The final property was everything Martha wanted:

• 3 spacious bedrooms with large wardrobes.
• 3 bathrooms, a huge living room, and an exterior layout with two balconies.
• A fully equipped kitchen with premium appliances, including a dishwasher, fridge, and wine cooler.
• Conveniently located on a main street in Chamberí, with two metro stations within a 3-minute walk.
• Close to all essential amenities.
• Bedrooms located at the back of the flat, ensuring peace and quiet.
