The area of Retiro is considered pretty calm and it’s next door neighbor is Salamanca. Life in the Retiro neighborhood is traditional, laid-back and still connected to the city centre. It’s very close to the famous Museo del Prado and it has attractions such as the Palacio de Cristal and a little lake situated in the centre of the park.
This is a great place to live if you want to be be right in the middle of things, live in an middle/upper-class neighborhood and still be able to escape from the city stress by going to the park anytime you want.
